Today is IQMD: International Quiet Men’s Day

I don’t know how other women feel, but often International Women’s Day can feel somewhat depressing. It’s a reminder of the inequality and the past, and how we still see signs of indiscrimination everywhere.

One such example that hit me in the guts this week was one about Albert Einstein’s wife and the zero recognition she has had for the contribution to Einstein’s work.

I’m not going to pretend I’m an expert in her or Einstein’s work, and yes I can understand why it happened at that point in time, please don’t mansplain it to me. But it still hits hard because this kind of stuff still happens in every day modern life.

And men* can’t see it, over their hustle, their push for “success” and their ignorance. The fact that we are tired of being pushed into the men’s narrative.

Like we should work the way things are because that is how man has set up the world. Have you seen the state of the world recently?

Maybe we need different ways of creating businesses, finding and defining success.

And today I had a call to talk about a ‘consultancy’ opportunity. And I spoke with confidence and passion and I was asked about how to work together and rates.
